Client: American Memory Loss Foundation (AMLF)
Industry: Nonprofit / Healthcare Awareness
Services Provided: Website Design, SEO, Accessibility Optimization, Digital PR, and Ongoing Marketing Strategy
Agency: Clarity Digital
Background
The American Memory Loss Foundation (AMLF) launched with a simple but powerful mission: to help individuals and families concerned about memory loss find answers and resources in plain English. Founded by Ed Chambliss, AMLF bridges an important gap in the healthcare ecosystem by offering guidance before diagnosis and empowering people to take proactive steps through its free “Memory Loss Roadmap.”
When AMLF was ready to share its mission publicly, it needed a website that was clear, compassionate, and accessible. They turned to Clarity Digital Agency to bring that vision to life.
Challenge
As a brand-new foundation, AMLF needed to:
- Build a trustworthy and accessible online presence from the ground up
- Clearly explain complex neurological and cognitive topics in simple, human language
- Comply with accessibility standards to ensure usability for visitors who may themselves experience memory or cognitive challenges
- Create SEO foundations to reach individuals searching for information on memory loss and early cognitive decline
- Develop and execute and outreach program to expand awareness and credibility
Our Approach
1. Strategy & Information Architecture
Clarity Digital began with strategic discovery, defining audience personas that included caregivers, aging adults, and concerned family members. We structured the site to reflect a user journey rooted in empathy and clarity, minimizing cognitive load through clean design and intuitive navigation.
2. Website Design & Accessibility
The new site was designed using a minimalist, high-contrast layout with large legible typography, intuitive spacing, and alt-text optimization for all visual content. The result is a site that’s both ADA-compliant and emotionally supportive.
3. SEO Foundation & Content Optimization
We conducted keyword research around “memory loss help,” “early signs of memory decline,” and “memory loss roadmap,” optimizing on-page structure and metadata for both Google and emerging AI search platforms. Schema markup was implemented for nonprofit and FAQ content to enhance visibility in search results and future-facing AI models.
4. Outreach Digital Footprint Expansion
Following the website launch, AMLF’s story was featured in a national press release titled “New Foundation Begins Journey to Help Those Who Are Concerned About Memory Loss” on EIN Presswire. This milestone served as the first step in a broader digital PR campaign that Clarity Digital continues to manage, with ongoing link-building, thought-leadership placement, and outreach to health and wellness publications.
Results
- Successful public launch of the American Memory Loss Foundation website and brand
- Press coverage across national media outlets within the first week of launch
- Immediate growth in organic visibility for targeted “memory loss” and “early memory symptoms” keyword clusters
Ongoing Partnership
Today, Clarity Digital continues to work with AMLF on expanding their reach through SEO, PR, and content marketing. Our focus is on strengthening their digital authority, improving visibility across traditional and AI-driven search platforms, and amplifying their mission to make reliable memory-related information accessible to everyone.
